Seriously nice belt. I previously swore off 13mm 4″ wide lever belts because I had a different brand that stayed extremely stiff and would jab my ribs every time I used it to squat. But this Pioneer belt is made with much better leather that conforms better to the body, with out giving up and of the tightness you need to properly brace. I’m glad I made the purchase

Competitive powerlifter and pro bodybuilder here. I’ve been using Pioneer 10mm belts for years now and this one is on the same grade level.. which is EXCELLENT. Having access to this type of quality and not having to wait is literally priceless.
For the belt, it is black on black, beautiful stitching, pressed logo and leather stain. Lever is as expected, which is durable and will likely last just as long as my my 4+ year old belt that has survived daily abuse. The slightly tapered tongue really helps with the typical belt ‘pinch’; which is a great design improvement. Double thick leather creates the obvious, which is maximal support and is a nice upgrade as I walk deeper and deeper into powerlifting.
I’m chasing world records in May 2020 (165# raw classic, submaster division) and needless to say, this belt is going to help get me there.

I bought a stock belt a year ago and it is amazing. I lost 40lbs and the belt was too big. I messaged The company and they told me I could send it in and they’d add more holes. Turnaround time from me shipping it to them and it arriving back at my house? 10 days! They have a customer for life.

I ordered one some months ago and didn’t want to make a review until I broke it in.stuff at first like all leather but once broken in ,it’s pretty flexible.got it real quick maybe less than five days if I remember correctly for sure not later than I want to say six days.anyway real pleased with the purchase and just pulled the trigger on a PAL lever baby!!!!

I’ve had this belt for about 3 weeks now and I can’t say enough good things about it. Great quality leather! Great quality buckle! It fits very very well! It stays tight like a lever belt should and as it starts to break in, it stays firm yet comfortable and payable. Again, not enough good things to say about this belt, if you ever are considering a lever belt but don’t want to pay for an expensive sbd belt, this is the best option out there!

I got this belt as a gift and I’m pretty new to lifting with a belt so this was my first one. Quality is top notch and definitely helps me feel more stable under heavy squats and deadlifts. It doesn’t pinch, snag or slid around anywhere on my body (as long as it’s properly adjusted). All though I don’t think it’s necessary to rely on belts to lift heavy all the time I’d 100% recommend this to someone who is new to weight lifting belts.

This is my first lever belt. Words don’t do any justice to describe the quality and material of this belt. By far, THIS IS THE BEST BELT IN THE WORLD!!!!…The one made in Europe is nice too but Pioneer is made in the US. It is worth to spend the money on a belt that will last you for the rest of your life. Between the high quality leather, metal, and build, to the half inch adjustable lever this belt is a SERIOUS step up from my last one, you can tell just by lifting it up it was carefully made and perfect for a powerlifter. And for $100 less than the SBD belt, it’s a steal, well worth the investment if you’re a heavy lifter.

So glad I went with this belt. I love the lever specially! I ordered a small at the time and since after I gained weight from pregnancy I can kinda still fit the belt just can’t close the clip which still works that way too. Which surprised me because I would of needed a new belt where this one is so adjustable! Would recommend 100% worth the price too. I powerlift, and Been wearing this belt for over a year now and it’s still in new like condition.

My first belt was 36yrs ago, double prong untreated leather Target store special that never broke in and bruised ribs. Roll forward to today May 7th 2023 with a 13mm Pioneer 4″ , no suede, PAL V2 stock belt and out of the shipping box with a couple of break in, hand roll ups, and it feels very nice to wear. I can only imagine it will get better with time. A final note I turned down an SBD belt order as suede traps sweat, odor, and bacteria and apparently the red color suede bleeds and i do sweat. I dont need a competition approved belt and feel I made a solid choice with my Pioneer purchase.

Amazing belt if you want to squat/Deadlift a heavy load. Had it for almost a week now and everything feels good. Breaking it in does not feel like an issue. My only slight issue is the lever finish, if you plan on keeping it on through out the sets be mindful of scraping it on the rack or barbell. Scratched mine today but it’s no biggie. Better than SBD and Inzer
